Your experience

Discover this region of Puebla, cataloged nationally as one of the best climates.

We begin our transfer to the Magic Town of Atlixco, but before, we will take you to Chipilo, famous for the dairy production, where you can see the process and elaboration of an endless number of artisanal cheeses. Enjoy a cheese tasting and taste the difference in its flavor to be produced by hand.

We will continue our tour to Tochimilco, a charming town, where we will visit the former Franciscan convent of Our Lady of the Assumption, from the 16th century that was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

On this visit, we will take a tour of the “Route of the Flavors of traditional cuisine”, visiting the typical market, where we recommend you try a delicious mamey ice cream (not included). We will visit the place where they make the traditional bread of the region in adobe ovens and we will give you to taste a freshly baked bread.

Later we will visit the Amaranto store to learn in an explanation the planting process, its properties and the elaboration of a great number of products with this grain. In rainy season, you can visit the amaranth fields to better understand the whole process.

We will continue to the city of Atlixco, where we will visit “Mega Nursery” where you will be fascinated with the great diversity of plants found in this place. We will continue by a tour of the historic center to visit its “Zócalo”, its Ex-Franciscan Convent and its Municipal Palace. In the “Zócalo”, admire the monumental flower rug that changes its design according to the season.

Free time for lunch (not included): we will recommend several places in the central square or, in the cecina market. #ViajaPorPuebla
