City tour visiting: Mercado de San Juan, the largest in Mexico where we can find all kinds of food and spices, exotic products and Gourmet. Transfer to the “ZÓCALO”, the main square of Mexico, to visit the National Palace, Templo Mayor. Visit to the Museum of Anthropology. Later we will move to a Mexican Restaurant to enjoy a delicious meal.

DAY 3 | Mexico City- Puebla

Description |

Breakfast. Visit to the Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacán with its more than 2000 years old, visiting the wonderful Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, visit to the Basilica of Guadalupe. Later we will make the transfer to the city of Puebla de los Ángeles. Free time.

DAY 4 | Puebla

Breakfast. We will visit the Historical Center of Puebla where we will also find exhibitions of Mexican Culture, we will know the history of the poblano dishes such as Mole and Chile en Nogada among others. We will also visit a mole mill that from ancient times they used to make the pasta of this delicious dish as well as the preparation of Pipianes. We will try molotes, tamales, cemitas, etc.

Later we will have a gastronomic demonstration where the secrets of the preparation of the mole and the rich poblano chalupitas will be known.

Tasting the dishes. We will visit the street of the sweets where they will give us a small tasting of the famous Puebla sweets. Tasting a rich traditional liquor in Puebla: La Pasita (it is said that according to the amount you take, it is estimated the “little steps” that you can give after tasting it).

DAY 5 | Puebla – Cholula

Breakfast. Visit to Talavera Factory to learn about the manufacturing process of this emblematic Puebla craft that has a designation of origin. Visit the top of the Pyramid to see the Church of Los Remedios and admire the view of Cholula. View to the Ethnobotanical Garden, where we will have a workshop Capturing the Flavors: In this workshop we learn to capture the taste of culinary plants and flowers in sugars, vinegars and oils. Visit to Tonanzintla where we will admire the syncretism between the culture of the region and the Spanish culture.

Visit to the Traditional Cider Factory where they will give us a tour and we will have a tasting of ciders. Visit to the market and tasting of some delicious Molotes. Tasting. Transfer to Puebla. Free time.

DAY 6 | Puebla -Atlixco – Oaxaca

Breakfast. Transfer to Atlixco 30 kilometers from Puebla, to visit its famous market, where you will taste some delicious tacos of cecina with cream. Afterwards, visit a house producing craft beer, where you can taste it. Visit to the pinacoteca of the municipality, one of the most important. Food in the gastronomic corridor. Transfer to Oaxaca.

DAY 7 | Oaxaca

Breakfast. Visit to “Casa Crespo”, where Mr. Oscar Carrizosa, owner and a true expert in Mexican traditions, will be our master Chef to give us a gastronomic workshop. He will give us a talk on the avocados to cook and then take us to the local market to acquire the ingredients of our 4-course meal. Here we will take advantage of our visit to see all the variety of ingredients, species and typical elements of the area: black, red and yellow mole, Tlayudas, Chapulines, etc.

Back at Casa Crespo, we will learn about the process of making black mole, bean soup and traditional recipes such as pumpkin flower quesadillas and Oaxaca cheese, starting from the most basic and traditional as making dough, combining different cooking techniques.

At the end of the meal, pedestrian city tour visiting the most interesting points, chocolate factory and tasting.

At the end of the day we will have dinner at Casa Oaxaca, by Chef Alejandro Ruiz, where we will taste culinary gems from the region.

DAY 8 | Oaxaca – Puebla – Mexico City

Breakfast. Transfer to the archaeological zone of Mitla; Visit to mezcal factory to know the elaboration of this typical drink of the region; Photo in the famous tree of the Tule, ending in Teotitlán del Valle to know the process of dyeing with the Grana Cochinilla, animal that lives in the cactus. Typical food. Transfer to Mexico City or Puebla.

Before making your purchase check availability, make this at least 24 hours in advance of the completion of the tour, once your reservation is confirmed, make the payment, send your proof of payment to send your confirmation which must be presented on the day of your tour along with some official identification with the representative of the Tiptours Module.

⬢ Both parties agree that THE AGENCY is relieved from liability for damages, injuries, accidents, delays or irregularities, that occur due to force majeure or fortuitous event that may occur to the CLIENT during the execution of services, as the person is not directly responsible for providing the corresponding services and for being only an intermediary between them and the CLIENTS.
