Your experience

The Puebla – Cholula tram takes you to this Magical Town in a panoramic tour that starts from the Zocalo of Puebla City passing through Juarez Avenue where you can find part of the best restaurants of Puebla and international food of the city. We leave Puebla to go to Cholula. Its foundation dates back to 500 BC. It was precisely the Toltecs who formed the largest ceremonial center of Anahuac here, turning Cholula into the “Sacred City” and where the pyramid with the largest base in the world is located. On board our tram “El General” (two levels and discovered) or “La Enamorada”, inspired by María Félix with panoramic windows and one floor. Our guide will accompany you and will narrate live the history and legends of this sacred city . We start the tour through the Zócalo de San Pedro Pedro Cholula, and the Great Pyramid (at the end of the tour you will have free time to visit it on your own) and continuing to the Parish of San Andrés Cholula. Here we will make a brief stop to visit the temple. Optional stop at the Francisco Peláez Ethnobotanical Garden, where you can hold a workshop on medicinal, culinary or aromatherapy plants. Later, we continue to the Temple of San Francisco Acatepec, a religious monument characteristic of the Baroque architecture of Mexico, especially recognized for its mosaic facade of the Talavera de Puebla. You can also visit a workshop in Talavera. We continue to visit an architectural jewel of Mexico: the Temple of Santa María Tonanzintla decorated inside the temple corresponds to the baroque indigenous or baroque novohispano style consisting of an exuberant decoration with indigenous motifs, such as angels with plumes of feathers, with garlands of flowers , with attire of eagle gentleman and with indigenous features, fruits and plants. All this shows a mixture between the pre-Hispanic world and the Christian world. We again approach the “TuriTip” to continue our panoramic tour passing through several temples of the “Barrios de Cholula” to finish at the Zócalo of San Pedro Cholula. Here you will have free time to visit on your own the Ex-convent of San Gabriel and the Royal Chapel, the Great Pyramid of Cholula as well as enjoy the local cuisine. #ViajaPorPuebla

Booking policy |
